And we are proud of these hands: Our production team originates primarily from the local region. The unique ACCENTE know-how is the result of the commitment and long-time experience of our employees, who on average have 14 years of service. Since the founding of ACCENTE, we are committed to manufacturing in Germany, today more than ever.

A tour of the production
Frames of massive beech wood build the foundation for the ACCENTE Originals. For non-linear designs, highest-quality shaped woods or bent woods are used. Furniture manufacturing with bent wood originates from a process developed by Michael Thonet in 1830, in which beech wood is formed through a steaming procedure. The ACCENTE loom is then fitted onto the frames by hand. The loom forming for the various models requires the specialized handcrafting skills and long-time experience of our employees. Each ordered set of furniture is entirely handcrafted by the same employee to ensure a consistent “handwriting” across all individual pieces.

Step-by-step fine tuning in preparation for the coronation.
In the coating process, the loom fabric is hardened and prepared for the lacquering stage. The spray painting and sanding are carried out by hand. In order to ensure the unsurpassed touch and feel of ACCENTE furniture, this process is repeated up to four times. The individual cushions and pillows out of the finest available fabrics and leathers are sewn in our sewing department by hand with precision and absolute attention to detail. Quality management is extended to every individual manufacturing stage and is completed with a comprehensive quality control at the final assembly. It is the most stringent requirement for the coronation of a perfect piece of furniture:

Special Features
ACCENTE’s individuality and versatility is exhibited by its special designs as well as the virtually unlimited choice of fabrics, leathers and colors. Over 1,000 colors are offered with no additional surcharge (RAL and Sikkens palettes, additional colors are available upon request). Since early 2007, ACCENTE has been using environmentally friendly paints which are solvent- and formaldehyde-free, flame-resistant, odorless and optimally resistant to light. In addition, ACCENTE offers exclusive earth tones and its own extensive palette of matt colours.
